New York Knicks Receive: F Tobias Harris
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Derrick Rose, G/F Evan Fournier
Of course, the line between role player and star player isn’t always so strictly drawn. Some players walk it.
Tobias Harris is one example. He’s paid like a star, and at times, he’s produced like one too.
On the other hand, an offense built around Harris would likely be the worst in the NBA. He’s something closer to an elite supporting player than a true star.
On the other hand, Derrick Rose, as we said, used to be a bonafide star. Unfortunately, injuries robbed him of several prime years. Still, he’s done an impressive job transitioning into a role player.
