Granted, it might feel strange to call them middle class. After all, the Raptors were the 2018-19 NBA champions. Still, they bested a hobbled Warriors team to get their, and franchise star Kawhi Leonard departed shortly after.
If you must, call them middle-upper class. As currently constructed, the Raptors are talented, but they’re highly unlikely to be competing for an NBA title in 2022-23.
