Toronto Raptors Receive: G Donovan Mitchell

The Toronto Raptors have frequently been linked to Kevin Durant. With that said, recently, those linkages are being made less often.

It seems as if the Raptors aren’t willing to give up reigning Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes in exchange for Durant. That makes sense. Too much of their future is tied to the potential star to move him for a 33-year-old.

With that said, they probably wouldn’t have to part with Barnes to land Mitchell. Anunoby, Trent Jr., two first-round picks and a swap ought to get the deal done.

On the other hand, it may not be precisely the deal the Jazz are looking for. It seems widely understood that they’ll covet draft capital above all else.
