Utah Jazz Receive: F Gordon Hayward, F Kelly Oubre Jr., F/C P.J. Washington, 2023 First-Round Pick (via DEN), 2025 First-Round Pick, 2027 First-Round Pick, 2029 First-Round Pick, One Pick Swap
Charlotte Hornets Receive: G Donovan Mitchell, F Bojan Bogdanovic

This is another scenario that the Hornets can present the Jazz with. Again, Charlotte was originally looking to shed some salary and Gordon Hayward was a name mentioned quite often in rumors. In this scenario, he is used as a large chunk of salary to match.

Hayward spent the first seven seasons of his career in Salt Lake City, so he knows the organization inside and out. With only two seasons remaining on his deal, the Jazz would likely be more open to taking him on than Rozier, as his contract is half as long.

Also heading to the Jazz are Kelly Oubre Jr. and P.J. Washington. Oubre is on an expiring deal, while Washington is eligible for an extension. Since Hayward and Washington don’t have ideal contracts for what the Jazz are looking for, one pick swap is included in this deal along with four first-round picks.

Another wrinkle in this is the Hornets taking on Bojan Bogdanovic. He can help fill the void at small forward that is created with Hayward and Oubre heading out west.
