Myles Turner

Chicago Bulls Receive: C Myles Turner
When the Chicago Bulls acquired Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic, it ignited their fanbase. The organization was boldly announcing its intention to compete at all costs.
By now, it’s fair to question how much Vucevic helps with that goal.
After all, his three-point shooting is one of his primary weapons. In 2021-22, Vucevic struggled to connect from deep. The NBA veteran has other offensive tools, but in an offense featuring Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, he seldom finds the opportunity to showcase them.
Given his defensive shortcomings, that limits his impact on this team. If Vooch isn’t hitting threes, he isn’t doing much for Chicago. On the other hand, Myles Turner may be a stretch big, but his impact extends beyond that skill set. He’s one of the best rim protectors in the entire NBA.

With that in mind, he’d be perfect for the defensively challenged Bulls. At the cost of a player they don’t need on an expiring contract, White and a (likely non-lottery) first-round pick, the Bulls should add him if possible.
