Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz have made their intentions clear for this offseason, as they are heading into a rebuild. This is normally the path that teams Danny Ainge takes over the front office follow, as the coaching staff and roster underwent major changes.
Utah has prioritized draft picks in their trades this offseason and that will likely be what they do with Donovan Mitchell as well. They are clearing a ton of cap space in the process as well, as almost all of the players they got back are on expiring deals, rookie contracts or team-friendly pacts.
Given how many assets they have compiled, Utah could speed this rebuild up at any point. While they may not end up having a star in place like the Portland Trail Blazers have with Damian Lillard, a retooling such as the one that occurred in Portland this summer could occur in Utah.
If the Utah Jazz want to make a splash in free agency next season, Jordan Poole is someone that they could target. Based on proposals that have gone back and forth with the New York Knicks, the Utah Jazz won’t be getting Immanuel Quickley from New York. No long-term point guard was acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Rudy Gobert either, so Poole could be someone they target to fill the position.

Only 23, Poole would fit the timeline even for a rebuilding team such as the Utah Jazz. After seemingly bottoming out for one season, the Jazz could start climbing back to relevancy during the 2023-24 season with a seasoned, young veteran such as Poole leading the way.
