Tony Bradley — Chicago Bulls

There isn’t much that the Philadelphia 76ers are missing on their roster right now. But, if they were going to target a specific position, it will likely be in the frontcourt at the center positions where they don’t have much behind Joel Embiid.

Last year it was a spot that Andre Drummond filled very well, but after he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets as part of the James Harden deal, they never really filled the void.

Charles Bassey could be given a chance this upcoming season and P.J. Tucker can always play small-ball five, but adding a little more size wouldn’t hurt.

They could look to bring back a familiar face in Tony Bradley. Bradley spent 20 games with the 76ers during the 2020-21 season before being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He signed a deal with the Chicago Bulls last offseason and is someone they could look to acquire again.

Bradley would provide insurance and depth at the center position in case the younger players that may get a chance at a rotation spot aren’t producing. He was solid in a part-time role with the Chicago Bulls last season, with per-36 minute averages of 10.7 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks.

Swapping him for Matisse Thybulle could work for both sides. The Chicago Bulls have a lot of offense on the wing when it comes to Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, but are lacking defensive-minded players.

Lonzo Ball and Patrick Williams can only do so much to overcome the lack of impact on that end of the court from LaVine, DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic.

When paired with high-scoring players such as the Chicago Bulls stars, Thybulle has a chance to thrive as he can focus on his defense.
