The Philadelphia 76ers have done a solid job this NBA offseason upgrading the roster. After another disappointing second-round exit from the postseason, Daryl Morey got to work on bringing players in that will help elevate the team.

During the 2022 NBA Draft, the 76ers traded their first-round pick and Danny Green to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for De’Anthony Melton, who will fill the backup point guard void on the roster. In free agency, some familiar faces from his days with the Houston Rockets were signed in P.J. Tucker and Danuel House Jr.

A big reason that these moves were possible was that James Harden took a sizable pay cut this offseason. He declined his player option for the 2022-23 season and signed for $15 million less than he could have despite being eligible for a five-year deal worth nearly $270 million.

This is a deep, talented 76ers team that will be looking to take that next step during the upcoming season. Their rotation is stronger, but with these additions, it also means that other guys may see their playing time cut back.

One of the players in danger of receiving a scaled-back role is Matisse Thybulle. Thybulle is a unique player given the impact that he can have on a game defensively, but his offense leaves a lot to be desired. His struggles in the postseason put the team in a bind as well, as he was virtually unplayable with a NetRating of -21.1 compared to when he was on the court and off of it.

With contract negotiations going slowly, there is a chance that Thybulle could be traded this offseason. Where could he end up? Here are three potential trade targets for the 76ers in a package for Thybulle.
