The options are limited for the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason when it comes to upgrading the roster. They would love to swing bigger deals to bring in some high-end talent, but they just do not have many assets to build competitive packages with.

Josh Richarson re-found his shooting stroke last season after two years of being slightly below average. Between the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs last season, Richardson knocked down 41.5 percent of his 3-point attempts. For a team that shot 34.7 percent from 3-point range last season, which was 22nd in the league, Richardson would provide a nice upgrade.

Trading a young player who once had so much hype for Richardson may have once been thought of as being a steep price, but the Lakers have to do what they can to upgrade the roster.
