Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors could be forced to undergo some changes this offseason. They have seven players that are hitting free agency, so some moves may have to be made. While they would love to bring back every single one of them, that may not be a realistic outcome for them to achieve.
As a result, Golden State could look to the trade market to fill the voids. One of the players that they are likely going to struggle to retain is Otto Porter Jr. The combo forward did an excellent job this past season and Kyle Kuzma could replicate a lot of what he brought to the table.
Kuzma can provide a scoring punch like Porter did, albeit with a little less 3-point shooting. There were times that the Warriors deployed Porter as their small-ball center as well, something Kuzma could likely handle in the right situation given his size, as he is a little bigger than Porter is.
The positionless basketball that the Golden State Warriors have perfected in recent years is something that Kuzma’s skill set would fit into perfectly. He can fill a number of roles with his expanding repertoire offensively and is capable of defending multiple positions.

If the Golden State Warriors do not feel some of their youngest players are ready to contribute to a contending team, they can flip an asset or two to the potentially rebuilding Wizards for the established Kuzma, who helped the Los Angeles Lakers win a championship in the Orlando Bubble in 2020.
