Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings thought that they had a deal in place to acquire Kyle Kuzma last offseason from the Los Angeles Lakers. But, that deal fell through when Los Angeles pivoted to a deal for Russell Westbrook, which is how Kuzma ended up in Washington.
This offseason, the Kings could once again try to acquire Kuzma. He would be a good fit in their lineup as they need all of the help that they can get on the wing. It is the weakest part of their rotation right now, as they are set in the backcourt with De’Aaron Fox, Davion Mitchell and Donte DiVincenzo and in the frontcourt with Domantas Sabonis, Richaun Holmes and Harrison Barnes.
While Kuzma has thrived as a power forward, he can succeed as a small forward as well. He brings enough shooting to the table to keep a defense honest, something that the Sacramento Kings need more of.
His defensive improvements would only continue with the Kings, who will be coached by Mike Brown next season. Brown is excellent on that side of the ball and would help Kuzma continue developing defensively.

Kuzma’s versatility and expanding skill set would be a nice upgrade for the Sacramento Kings. Desperate to snap their 16-year playoff drought, they should be targeting players such as Kuzma to help them turn things around.
