New York Knicks Receive: Kyrie Irving
There was a time when Irving-to-the-Knicks felt like an inevitability.
It was the summer of 2019. Irving and close friend Kevin Durant were both unrestricted free agents. The Knicks were busy clearing cap space, seemingly confident that the pair would opt to pursue NBA titles together in New York.

Flash forward to the present day, and it does not appear likely that Irving and Durant will be the figureheads of a Brooklyn Nets dynasty.
