No. 4 Overall Pick In 2022 NBA Draft
There are a number of teams that are looking to move up in the 2022 NBA Draft. It does take two to tango, and luckily for them, several teams are looking to trade back or out of the first round altogether.
One of those teams is the Sacramento Kings, who own the fourth overall pick. They are looking to add some established talent to the roster to help snap their 16-year playoff drought, which is the longest drought in NBA history.
Many teams are interested in making a deal with the Kings and one of them is the New York Knicks. The Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, and Washington Wizards have also been mentioned as teams monitoring the fourth overall selection. All of them are likely eyeing Purdue guard Jaden Ivey with that selection should he not be selected in the top three.
Ivey has drawn rave reviews after an excellent sophomore season with the Boilermakers. He has star potential with his explosive athleticism and scoring ability. Many are projecting him to be a lead ball-handler at the next level, something the Knicks desperately need.

While he has some growing to do, as he lacks experience as a point guard, the tools are there for him to succeed. The Knicks and their fan base would be ecstatic if they could make a deal with the Kings that put them in a position to finally address their long-standing need for a lead guard.
