Bradley Beal
One of the more intriguing storylines of free agency in the NBA this summer will be what happens with Bradley Beal. Beal is likely heading into unrestricted free agency and has made it clear that his No. 1 goal is to win. Whether or not he sees that kind of future with the Washington Wizards is currently up for debate.
While signs seemingly point to Beal returning to the nation’s capital, until he puts pen to paper, nothing is guaranteed. While the New York Knicks aren’t too far ahead of the Wizards right now, a path to relevancy is easier to see if Beal combines with RJ Barrett and Julius Randle.
Can the Knicks convince Bradley Beal that Manhattan is the place for him? It will likely be a tall task, but the Knicks should at least try. Beal would bring a lot to the table that New York needs, as a go-to scorer to take the pressure off of Barrett and Randle.
While Bradley Beal isn’t a natural point guard, he has shown at times during his tenure with the Wizards that he is a more than capable floor general. The ball was in his hands a lot the last few seasons and he has made the most of it as a playmaker, averaging a career-high 6.6 assists per game last season.

The Knicks are in the market for a point guard, but what they really need is someone that can organize things at the end of games. Bradley Beal is certainly capable of that, as he can create for himself and his teammates and is a true three-level threat.
