This feels like the most realistic trade we’ve outlined here.

The Los Angeles Lakers flip Anthony Davi for two high-end forwards. Jerami Grant is a fringe All-Star contributor. He can create shots for himself, while also serving as a quality spot-up forward when either LeBron James or Russell Westbrook is running the show. In fact, the same could be said for Barnes, albeit to a lesser degree.

Following this trade, the Lakers would have multiple quality offensive options. Whether Russell Westbrook is included in that group is a matter of debate. This trade still leaves the Lakers wanting for a stretch big man to pair with Westbrook.

Realistically, they’ll be hoping Anthony Davis can be that player in 2022-23. It feels unlikely that they’ll trade him this summer. With that said, if that is an option they’re entertaining, the Kings ought to give them a call.
