3. Duncan Robinson
The Miami Heat fell in seven games to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Their offense failed them at times in the series as Jimmy Butler was the only player that they could consistently count on to put the ball in the basket.
Always ready to shake things up if it means improving the roster and getting closer to a title, Pat Riley will be open for business once again this offseason. One player that could be put on the trade block by Miami is Duncan Robinson.
Beggars can’t be choosers when you are in the position that the Lakers have. Duncan Robinson’s contract is a tough one to stomach as he is under contract for four more seasons and owed more than $74 million. He fell out of favor with Miami, as he was removed from the starting lineup near the end of the regular season and found himself on the sidelines during their postseason run more often than not.
However, Duncan Robinson has one elite skill that the Lakers could use more of and that is 3-point shooting. Robinson struggled, for his standards, shooting the ball this season as he connected on 37.2 percent of his 3-point attempts. But, for his career, he is a 40.6 percent shooter and does that on high volume.
