The Golden State Warriors will have some tough decisions to make this offseason. They are set to have seven players hit free agency and it will be virtually impossible to keep everyone.
Golden State also has to take into consideration that Jordan Poole is eligible for an extension this offseason and Andrew Wiggins is set to become a free agent in 2023.
Wiggins has turned himself into an excellent player with the Warriors. He made his first All-Star game this season and has been their most consistent player in the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.
Golden State would love to keep him, but it may not be feasible as their roster is getting more and more expensive. If they decide that they cannot keep him, the Cavaliers need to aggressively pursue him with a trade package that includes Kevin Love’s contract.

Andrew Wiggins is realizing the immense potential that made him the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He would fit in perfectly with the Cavaliers, who need an upgrade on the wing in the worst way.
Inserting him into the starting five would be a sizable upgrade on Cedi Osman and Isaac Okoro. Only 27-years old, Andrew Wiggins is young enough to fit the timeline that Cleveland is now on, as they look to ascend the Eastern Conference standings.
