The Cleveland Cavaliers surprised a lot of people with how well they performed during the 2021-22 NBA season. While it ended disappointingly, as they were defeated by the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Play-In Tournament, it was a huge success overall for the Cavaliers.
They won 44 games, the most in a non-LeBron James season since they won 47 back during the 1997-98 campaign. They are on the right track and this offseason they should look to continue filling the gaps on the roster.
One area that Cleveland could use some help with is on the wing. Last season they found a lot of success playing jumbo lineups with Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, and Lauri Markkanen all starting together.
J.B. Bickerstaff did a great job with what was provided to him, but they could certainly use a little more of a boost on the wing.
