The Utah Jazz is heading toward an NBA offseason of change. They already experienced some, as head coach Quin Snyder stepped down from his role with the team.
Snyder was tied with Steve Kerr as the third longest-tenured head coach in the league, trailing only Gregg Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs and Erik Spoelstra of the Miami Heat.
In addition to the changes on the coaching staff, the roster will more than likely undergo some changes as well. Utah has fallen woefully short of expectations in the postseason the last few years and it is time to shake things up.
In the middle of that roster shake-up are their two All-Stars, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. It seems that partnership has run its course as the relationship, on and off the court, is reportedly beyond repair.

The two have tried coexisting but there were always rumblings of tension and things have reached a boiling point this offseason. That is what happens when you go 1-4 in five playoff games against the LA Clippers without Kawhi Leonard and the Dallas Mavericks without Luka Doncic.
While it has been widely reported that Gobert is who the franchise will look to move, there is still a chance that Mitchell is moved. Out of the two, he seems likelier to eventually ask for a trade, which could leave Utah without any All-Stars to build around in a year or two.
