Indiana Pacers Receive: G Donovan Mitchell, F Royce O’Neale
Utah Jazz Receive: G Malcolm Brogdon, G Buddy Hield, No. 6 Overall Pick, 2023 First-Round Swap, 2024 First-Round PIck
This hypothetical trade between the Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz was put together over at Bleacher Report by Andy Bailey. He put together some trades involving the top landing spots for Donovan Mitchell, which right now, are reportedly the New York Knicks, Miami Heat, and Atlanta Hawks.
The Pacers began their rebuild ahead of the trade deadline, but they aren’t a team that wants to go into a full teardown. They have parted ways with a few veterans and could look to cash in on a few of the assets they acquired.
Indiana does just that, acquiring Donovan Mitchell from the Jazz. He isn’t coming to town alone, as Royce O’Neale is joining him, further bolstering the Pacers’ forward depth chart.
A new starting five including those two with Tyrese Haliburton, Chris Duarte, and Myes Turner would have the Pacers back on track.
