After years of tanking and playing the lottery game, the Oklahoma City Thunder got oh-so-close but so far from landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Of course, there are still plenty of choices available with the second selection in the draft, but the Thunder do run the risk of having their top target snatched from their grasp by the Orlando Magic, who hold the first pick in the draft for the first time since 2004 when they acquired Dwight Howard.
