Injuries to Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. capped this team’s ceiling early. Nikola Jokic was sensational, but even as a deserving MVP, he couldn’t carry his team past the first round of the playoffs.

He needed help. Next year, he’ll get it. The return of his two co-stars should be enough to get the Nuggets back on track towards title contention.

Still, adding more firepower to this roster wouldn’t hurt.
