New York Knicks, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The 2022 NBA Draft could involve a ton of movement by teams up and down the draft board. With such a limited amount of teams projected to have cap space, trades will be the main way some of them can upgrade their rosters this offseason.

One of the teams that could be active on the trade front is the New York Knicks. They had a disappointing 2021-22 season that resulted in them finishing in 11th place after finishing in fourth the previous season.

As a result, they will be looking to add some talent to the roster this offseason. Armed with the 11th overall pick in the draft, tradable contracts, and young players, they could be active in trying to trade up.

Given the success they have had finding players later on in the draft, they could also be open to moving down, compiling assets along the way. It is something that Leon Rose has shown he is adept at, as he has done an excellent job maneuvering around the board, finding value and picking up more draft capital for the future.
