3 Dream Offseason Trade Targets For The Miami Heat

Miami Heat, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The Miami Heat made some big moves during the 2021 NBA offseason to try and get back into the picture as contenders. The moves worked, as they advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they are taking on the Boston Celtics.

The Heat is once again contenders, as Pat Riley built another strong roster. But, always looking to strengthen the team and improve their chances of taking home the Larry O’Brien Trophy, Miami could look to make another splash this offseason.

There have been some rumors about the team potentially looking to move on from Duncan Robinson, who signed a five-year, $90 million deal last offseason. Robinson being removed from the rotation for a majority of the postseason only adds more fuel to that fire.

Tyler Herro is another player that some people believe could be moved if it resulted in the Heat getting a star player in return. Herro won the Sixth Man of the Year award this season, but there are some concerns about if that is his ceiling.

Miami also made an under-the-radar trade at the deadline with the Oklahoma City Thunder that opened up another first-round pick to include in a trade. Those two players and picks could be the centerpiece of a deal to bring another All-Star caliber player to South Beach.
