Best Landing Spot: Los Angeles Clippers
Like the New Orleans Pelicans, the LA Clippers are a competitive team in need of a point guard. However, it feels more likely that a quality floor general could be this team’s missing piece for a title run.
The Clippers also have something in common with the Blazers. Their 2021-22 season was destroyed by injuries. However, without a first-round pick, they had no incentive to tank. Instead, they made smart acquisitions in an effort to gear up for 2022-23.
With Norman Powell and Robert Covington joining Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and a strong supporting cast, the Clippers are in great shape. Still, it feels like they’re missing a piece.
That piece could be Malcolm Brogdon. He’d instantly become the most naturally talented facilitator on this team. He’ll also be a strong floor spacer when Leonard and/or George are running the show.
