4. 3-Point Shooting
In the current NBA landscape, 3-pointers are the name of the game offensively. In this series, we are sure to see a ton of attempts from behind the arc and that will be a key throughout the games.
Golden State ranked third in the regular season with 14.3 3-pointers made per game, while the Dallas Mavericks were 10th with 13.1 per game. However, the Golden State Warriors were much more efficient, finishing seventh at 36.4 percent and the Mavericks were all the way down at 19th, making 35 percent.
In the postseason, both have stepped up their performance. The Golden State Warriors are making 14.3 attempts per game, just like the regular season, but at a 37.7 percent clip. The Mavericks are knocking down 15.5 per game at a 38.5 percent clip.
For the Mavericks, Dorian Finney-Smith, Reggie Bullock, and Maxi Kleber have been excellent. However, Finney-Smith and Bullock need to find more success on the road, as 58.6 percent of their makes have come at home.
