After an up-and-down year, it will be interesting to see if the Charlotte Hornets decide to make some changes in the NBA offseason.

The Hornets started out hot this season but leveled out as time went on. LaMelo Ball was selected to his first All-Star Game and is now a future star in Charlotte, along with Miles Bridges. The Hornets landed in the play-in portion of the postseason for the second consecutive season and were blown out in their first game.

The Hornets have become competitive in the Eastern Conference, but are not where they want to be just yet. This offseason could be crucial as the Hornets look to reshape, both on the floor and financially.

While the Hornets are further along, they are still rebuilding a bit, and the Indiana Pacers are in the same boat. This was another down year for the Pacers, which was expected after they sent away some of their big names.

Domantas Sabonis was traded to the Sacramento Kings while Caris LeVert landed in Cleveland. The Pacers have other high-level deals to make if they can find trade partners. Malcolm Brogdon remains at the top of the list.

This is not the blockbuster deal that Indiana might be looking for, but it is another move to build something new. Let’s look at a potential deal this offseason between the Pacers and Hornets.
