It is clear when the Memphis Grizzlies turned things around. Once Ja Morant came into the building, the race to the top was on. Morant is an MVP-caliber player that has a chance to turn into one of the best in the game right away. After a big step this season, the front office can make another splash.
Morant and Jackson Jr. are the two cornerstone players in Memphis. We have seen time and time again that a team likes to load up on stars in order to win titles. After finishing as the second seed in the West this season, the Grizzlies could turn the intensity up a bit.
Jackson Jr. is a blossoming star in the league at the power forward position. Davis would completely solidify the frontcourt for Memphis with Morant at point guard.
Davis’ ability from all three levels would make Memphis is harder to defend. This is how the Grizzlies can create more room on the offensive end of the floor.
