Durant and Irving are as good as they come in the league, but Brooklyn needs some depth coming off the bench. This does not always have to include big names. Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge. Yes, the injury to Joe Harris did not help the case, but there are other ways to make the team a bit well-rounded.
The Kings’ return is from experienced players who do not need the ball in their hands to be successful. They know how to play their role and have done so for years. This is precisely the type of player that would fit nicely next to Durant and Irving.
