LA Clippers
The LA Clippers had an up and down season. They entered it knowing they wouldn’t be getting anything from Kawhi Leonard, who injured his knee during their second-round playoff series against the Utah Jazz last summer. But, they could remain competitive since they still had Paul George on the roster.
Then, George went down with an injury of his own and the team struggled to stay afloat. They ended up in the NBA Play-In Tournament but lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans. George missed the win-or-go-home game against the Pelicans because of a positive COVID-19 test.
LA is entering the offseason knowing they can become contenders again next season with their All-Star duo back in the fold. But, they could use some help at the point guard position and Jalen Brunson would make for an intriguing target.
Fitting another large contract onto the books won’t be easy, but the Clippers have some trade pieces they can offer in exchange for him. A combination of Marcus Morris, Luke Kennard, Reggie Jackson, and Ivica Zubac could be offered to Dallas in exchange for Brunson, depending on how much his next contract is worth.

The one thing that the LA Clippers do not have to offer is a first-round pick in the near future. That could complicate things, but providing the Dallas Mavericks some players that would enable them to replace Brunson and continue competing could be attractive to them.
