1. Mitchell Robinson
If the Charlotte Hornets are going to dip into free agency to address their need at center, there are some options to look into. However, the best one when it comes to cost and potential to leave their current team is Mitchell Robinson.
Robinson and the Knicks have until June 30th to agree to an extension, which can go as high as four years and $48 million, but there is no indication that they are close on a deal. If Robinson reaches free agency, there will be several teams to court him.
Charlotte should pursue him aggressively because of how good of a defender he is. Robinson can be elite on that end of the court and a true difference-maker. He is athletic enough to hold his own on the perimeter on switches and is an excellent rim protector.
The bouncy Robinson would provide nightly highlights blocking shots on defense and finishing above the rim with alley-oop dunks. His offensive game is limited, dunks, layups, and putbacks are the extents of what he can offer, but the Hornets would be acquiring him for his defensive prowess.

His free throw shooting is also a concern, as he has plummeted below the 50 percent mark the last two seasons. But he earns his keep with his presence in the paint as an improving rebounder and intimidation around the basket.
