Los Angeles Lakers Look Better By End Of Summer
Go ahead. Call this one a cop-out. It’s still far from a foregone conclusion.
The Los Angeles Lakers may not enter the 2022-23 season looking like surefire contenders. LeBron James will be a year older. Anthony Davis’ health remains a lingering concern. Getting value for Westbrook will be a challenge.
They should look better. Realistically, it would be hard not to. Even buying out Westbrook and adding a couple of low-cost veterans should be addition by subtraction.
LeBron James is not one to rest on his laurels. He’s already been vocal about his desire to stay in the postseason after this year’s debacle. If nothing else, his power of will should result in a marginally better Lakers roster heading into next season.
