This hypothetical trade was put together by Greg Swartz over at Bleacher Report. He put together deals for every team that didn’t make the Play-In Tournament, so this one was done from the Indiana Pacers’ perspective.

After waiting an extended period of time for the Philadelphia 76ers to trade him, Ben Simmons would be on the move for the second time in the span of a few months. The Pacers showed interest in acquiring Simmons leading into the season and before he was traded to Brooklyn, so they could show interest again.

Simmons would fit in well with what they are building up in Indiana. Many will question if the Brooklyn Nets will move on from him that quickly, but they should be open to anything as Simmons will be making his debut with the team in the postseason.

Trading him would give them even more pieces to help fill out their roster. Myles Turner fills a huge hole in the middle for the Nets that they have had since trading away Jarrett Allen.
