Zach LaVine
What’s better than pairing the best passing big man in the league with a dynamic scoring guard? Pairing him two scoring guards, of course.
The dynamic between Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray has looked promising when it’s seen the floor. With Jokic’s generational passing vision, he’s able to find Murray in a position to score whenever he’s in it. Adding another volume scorer into the fold might make their offense unstoppable.
LaVine is an unrestricted free agent this season. The Denver Nuggets probably won’t land him. At a minimum, they’d have to find a taker for the oft-injured Michael Porter Jr and his sizeable contract to make room for LaVine’s max deal.
If LaVine has an interest in joining the squad, they should at least explore their options. Boasting one of the most talented backcourts in the NBA would be enticing enough on its own.
