LA Clippers Receive: G/F Ben Simmons, F Joe Harris, 2022 First-Round Pick (PHI), 2027 First-Round Pick (PHI)
Brooklyn Nets Receive: F Paul George, F Marcus Morris Sr
This may be the least likely out of all these deals. After all, the LA Clippers likely already had the opportunity to swap Paul George for Ben Simmons. Why would they bite now?
Well, Darryl Morey is a particularly stingy trade partner. He might not have been willing to part with the draft capital needed for the Clippers to keep an open mind here. This deal has them landing a dynamic young player in Simmons and recouping some draft capital in the process.
They’re also getting the better of the role players attached. Joe Harris spent much of this season sidelined by injury, but he’s one of the best three-point shooters in the league when he’s healthy. That also makes him a perfect running mate to pair with, you guessed it: Ben Simmons.
The Clippers would need to make further alterations to make this viable. Ivica Zubac does not pair well with Simmons: they’d need to find a stretch five to maximize his effectiveness.

Still, swapping George for Simmons may make for a more dynamic offense. The jumbo point guard Simmons may not shoot, but he’d bring a floor vision this team doesn’t currently have to the table.
This deal is far-fetched. In fact, all of them are. Just don’t write anything off as impossible. In this new player movement era, nothing is.
