3. Bones Hyland
The Denver Nuggets are entering the postseason without many expectations. With Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. sidelined, it will be hard for them to keep up with the high-powered Warriors.
Having the reigning and potential back-to-back MVP in Nikola Jokic on the team certainly helps, but he cannot do it by himself. He is going to need teammates to step up along with him, and one of the players who could answer the call is rookie, Bones Hyland.
Hyland came on strong in the second half of the season as he saw his role with the team grow. His minutes increased nearly every month of the season and with that his production improved and his comfort level on the floor grew as well.
Hyland knocked down 36.6 percent of his 3-point attempts this season and his command over the offense improved rapidly. In the last 20 games of the regular season, Hyland averaged 4.6 assists per game to go with nearly 14 points.

The Nuggets have struggled mightily whenever Jokic is off the court. Someone needs to have the ball put in their hands and it very well could be Hyland, who has earned his increased role and could surprise some people against a strong Golden State team.
