The Memphis Grizzlies are not a team that might have been expected on this list. All of a sudden, they are a legit title contender, and it is because of the emergence of Ja Morant. How would a backcourt of Morant and Mitchell look?
Memphis has improved drastically since Morant has entered the league. He is going to be an MVP candidate for years to come and is a franchise player to build around. If the front office is bold, they should look into adding another and taking that step forward.
In the offseason, Memphis was shopping Dillon Brooks and Kyle Anderson. They are both still on the roster and could be thrown into the package, along with draft capital.
Since the Memphis Grizzlies are near the top of the Western Conference, draft picks will not hurt as much as they would have if they were in the lottery.

A duo of Morant and Mitchell would have Memphis salivating. They would be able to play at an even faster pace with more athleticism. Mitchell and Morant are elite scorers that can pass effectively. Some combinations might not work because of style of play or other factors; this would not be one of them.
The Memphis Grizzlies changed when they landed the second pick in 2019 and got a chance to draft Morant. Now, they can continue improving and building one of the top backcourts in the league.
