T.J. Warren’s Upcoming Free Agency
T.J. Warren is another interesting name to keep tabs on entering the offseason, as the breakout star of the 2020 NBA Bubble is set to become an unrestricted free agent after not playing in an NBA game since December 29, 2020.
Just four games into the 2020-21 season, Warren suffered a season-ending foot injury that required surgery and suffering some setbacks during his recovery process, T.J. Warren has not played at all during the 2021-22 season.
We could see T.J. Warren have to take much of the same approach Victor Oladipo has working his way back from a significant quad injury, opting to sign a minimal deal with the Miami Heat this season, but it is also possible that the Pacers could look to keep him around for another year or so on a small contract worth a little bit more than a minimum deal.
