Does this trade make sense for the Washington Wizards?
The Washington Wizards need talent and with Bradley Beal’s future being clouded right now, they must find a way to add another high-level talent to their roster in the offseason.
Kyle Kuzma has played well and so has Kristaps Porzingis, but as of right now, the Wizards are a 40-win team at best, even with Bradley Beal being healthy.
In order for them to take the next step as a franchise and become a playoff threat in the Eastern Conference again, they will need to try and bring in another valuable offensive asset like Malcolm Brogdon.
Not only does this team have a clear need for a point guard on their roster, but they really do not have a clear-cut No. 2 scorer, which is why Brogdon makes sense for them.

He can play at a high level on both ends of the court and has proven to be an all-around playmaker offensively that can play off the ball.
Malcolm Brogdon is the perfect type of point guard to put next to Bradley Beal, which is why this trade makes sense for the Washington Wizards, even though they would be giving up a valuable first-round pick.
