Due to numerous injuries, Brooks has missed a total of 47 games this season and in those 47 games, Memphis has gone 33-14.
Leveraging Dillon Brooks in the final year of his contract for a slight upgrade in Jerami Grant may not be the worst idea, especially since Grant does not have an extensive history of being injured as Brooks does.

The Pistons could immediately utilize Dillon Brooks on the wing next to Saddiq Bey and Cade Cunningham, as well as find a role for Xavier Tillman Sr. in their second-unit and then bring in a new prospect with the Grizzlies draft pick in the upcoming 2022 NBA Draft.
