2. Andrew Wiggins
Another team that was mentioned as a possible landing spot for Ben Simmons when the 76ers were shopping him was the Golden State Warriors. They always seemed like a long-shot given what Philadelphia was looking for in return, but could the Brooklyn Nets have more interest in some packages?
A deal built around Andrew Wiggins could certainly intrigue the Nets. Wiggins has really come into his own with the Warriors, resulting in his first All-Star appearance this season and beginning to realize the immense potential that led to him being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
He is having the best season of his career shooting the ball and is turning into one of the better perimeter defenders in the NBA. If the Nets can work a deal out with Irving, adding Wiggins on the wing would keep him in a similar situation as he is in with the Warriors right now as a second or third option offensively.
His presence would also help save some mileage on Durant who more often than not is matched up with the best wing scorer on the opposing team. If the Nets could coax one of the younger players from the Warriors, such as James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga or Moses Moody, along with Wiggins, it would be a huge win.

While Wiggins isn’t the playmaker that Simmons is, he is a versatile defender in his own right and a much better offensive player as a third option behind Irving and Durant.
