The Golden State Warriors are preparing for what they hope will be another long playoff run this NBA season. While that is where their focus will be, and rightfully so, some within the organization will have an eye toward the offseason and putting together a game plan.
One of the things that the organization will have to figure out is what to do with Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins has begun realizing his immense potential and living up to the expectations of being the No. 1 overall pick as he was in 2014.
The Kansas product is having the most efficient shooting season of his career, making 46.9 percent of his shot attempts and knocking down 39.7 percent of his 3-point attempts. He made his first All-Star team this season and is an integral part of the Warriors team. However, the team may not be able to afford him long-term.
Wiggins is set for a new contract in the summer of 2023 and given how expensive the roster already is, Golden State may not be able to afford Wiggins.

The Warriors should be able to get some good value for Wiggins should they make him available this offseason.
