Does this trade make sense for the Miami Heat?
Dillon Brooks has dealt with a handful of injuries over the last few seasons, but he would be a really strong asset for the Heat to acquire in exchange for Duncan Robinson and a first-round pick swap.
Between his play on offense and defense, Brooks would fit right in on the wing with how Miami likes to play and could even be someone they look to flip for another key championship-like asset during the season.
Set to make $11.4 million in the final year of his contract next year, Dillon Brooks will be very affordable and someone the Heat likely would not look to re-sign should they acquire him due to Tyler Herro being up for a massive contract extension.
Brooks would be nothing more than a “one-year loan” for the Heat in order to get out of Duncan Robinson’s contract and whether they keep him or not, he would provide value in any scenario for Miami.

This would be a fairly good trade for the Heat to consider, but it is hard to imagine that the Grizzlies will be looking to part ways with any of their key assets in the offseason, especially since they are actually a title contender in the Western Conference this season.
