Does this trade make sense for the Houston Rockets?

One of the main reasons why the Houston Rockets did not move Eric Gordon at the trade deadline this season was because they did not receive the right value they had in mind in a trade proposal. 

Several playoff-contending teams were interested, but Houston was asking for a first-round pick in exchange for Eric Gordon, something teams across the league were not prepared to give up. 

In this deal with the Hawks, the Rockets would get the first-round pick they are searching for in exchange for Gordon and Danilo Gallinari could prove useful for them in different ways. 

Not only could he be a veteran contributor both on the wing and at the power forward position, but they could also look to move Gallinari again ahead of the 2023 NBA trade deadline given that he is in the final year of his contract.
