Washington Wizards

At the end of the day, the Washington Wizards still have to remain at the top of the list of potential destinations for Bradley Beal in the offseason simply because they have had a long-standing relationship with one another.

Washington values Beal as their No. 1 option and cornerstone of the franchise and Bradley Beal has stated on numerous occasions that he wants to remain loyal to the Wizards.

Last offseason, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that Beal had “no desire” to leave the Wizards and the three-time All-Star recently joined ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on “The Woj Pod” to explain why he does not want to just chase a ring in this league.

“Honestly, realizing that a franchise is willing to build around you. It’s not always like that everywhere. Like, if I go somewhere else, they’re just not going to build around you. They’ll build around what they have,” Beal said. “If I have a chance to create my own legacy and make it work here with the team that drafted me, why not give it a shot?”
