Does this trade make sense for the 76ers?
If they can get Bradley Beal, the Philadelphia 76ers will be willing to give up whatever it takes to land him. Quite honestly, if the price is Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris and Matisse Thybulle, the 76ers should be willing to make this deal simply because adding Beal makes them the favorite to win a championship in the NBA.
We have never seen a parking quite like Joel Embiid and James Harden in this league before and adding another elite scoring weapon in Bradley Beal would seem completely unfair because of how impossible it would be to stop this offense.
This is a lot of value for the 76ers to give up in a trade for another All-Star that would keep them well past the luxury tax threshold, but at the same time, Maxey is never going to be an All-Star talent like Bradley Beal and Philadelphia really gets no value from draft picks right now.
The Sixers have been built to contend for championships right now and adding a player like Beal just seals the deal for them making deep playoff runs.
