This Sixers-Wizards Trade Forms Beal, Embiid, Harden “Big 3”

Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

Bradley Beal has been at the center of attention around the NBA for quite some time now simply because of the fact that the Wizards have failed to build a sustainable, successful team around him.

Since being drafted third overall in 2012 by the Wizards, Beal has seen a lot of turnover within the Wizards’ organization and while they have been to the playoffs five different times in his nine seasons in the league, they were never really considered championship contending threats.

Now, the Wizards find themselves 29-34 on the season and on the outside of the play-in tournament picture looking in.

If Washington does somehow make the play-in tournament, they are not expected to advance to the playoffs and they will be sent back to the drawing boards in the offseason to try and figure out their next move to try and win some games.

LATEST NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Sixers Could Form “Big 3” With Bradley Beal?

The Wizards have not had a winning record since the 2017-18 season and with Bradley Beal having a $36 million player option for the 2022-23 season, there is a lot of speculation about him possibly leaving Washington in the offseason.

Whether he opts to sign with another team outright or push for a sign-and-trade deal in the offseason, the possibility of Beal leaving the Wizards is very real right now and one team that seems to be at the center of attention is the Philadelphia 76ers.

After trading for James Harden at the trade deadline this year, the 76ers are in a position to pursue more talent, whether they advance far or not in the playoffs.

Moving Tobias Harris’ contract seems to be something the team is interested in doing in the offseason and with the emergence of Tyrese Maxey in the backcourt, the 76ers all of a sudden may have the right assets to go after a third All-Star in Bradley Beal.

Could Philadelphia shock the NBA world again by forming a new “Big 3” of Joel Embiid, James Harden and Bradley Beal in the offseason?
