Take Back Draft Picks From Oklahoma City
Finding a rebuilding team that is willing to take on Tobias Harris’ contract is going to be tough to do, but the Oklahoma City Thunder may be willing to talk about a potential trade for the 29-year-old forward.
While they are rebuilding and still a long way away from being anything special, the Thunder have shown glimpses of what their young core is capable of this season.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a stud in the backcourt and the Thunder have seemed to hit “gold” by drafting Josh Giddey as an all-around playmaker as well. Continuing to add young, versatile talent is a goal of the Thunder’s, but adding an experienced, veteran leader like Tobias Harris could make sense in the short term.
They have plenty of cap space to make this kind of trade and seeing as they have 35 first-round draft picks through 2028, the Thunder could be willing to sacrifice one or two of them in later years for Harris right now.

From the 76ers’ point of view, they might as well try to get something for Tobias Harris and while there are not many players on the Thunder’s roster that could be useful, they could send Harris to the Oklahoma City Thunder for draft compensation that they lost when trading for James Harden.
