1. Plenty of Center Depth
The 76ers are going to rely heavily on Joel Embiid in the middle. He is in the best shape of his career and can handle bigger workloads. The depth they currently have behind him should be more than enough.
Millsap is serviceable in some matchups, especially when opponents go small. Willie Cauley-Stein provides the necessary size and athleticism should the 76ers go up against a jumbo frontline.
Those two provide more production right now than DeAndre Jordan has been and should not be released to make room for him. Cauley-Stein does everything you would hope Jordan can do as a shot-blocker, rebounder, and finisher above the rim but has a lot more juice in his legs.
Philadelphia also has young big man Charles Bassey whom they selected in the second round in the 2021 NBA Draft to use in case of emergency.
