Dennis Schroder – Houston Rockets
Going from Oklahoma City to Los Angeles to Boston and now to Houston, Dennis Schroder has not been able to find a consistent home over the last few seasons.
However, Dennis Schroder is a very reliable point guard that has done his job with the Thunder, Lakers and Celtics.
Prior to being on the move at the trade deadline to Houston, Schroder was averaging 14.4 points, 4.2 assists and shooting 44% from the floor with the Celtics.
Proving to once again be a “sixth-man-like” talent off-the-bench in the backcourt, Dennis Schroder can definitely make an impact with several teams across the league, but it does not appear that he will be with the Rockets too much longer.

There is a chance that they could buy him out of his contract this season and should they decide to do so, Schroder will instantly become the best pure talent available in free agency ahead of the March 1 roster deadline.
He can pass, score off-the-dribble and lead his team’s second-unit, which is why Dennis Schroder should be viewed as a reliable guard.
Denver’s backcourt has been a mess this season without Jamal Murray on the floor, which is why they could have a level of interest in adding another guard in the buyout market.

There are other options, some of which are better three-point shooters, but Dennis Schoder would be a solid fit next to Nikola Jokic, especially since he does not need to be the primary facilitator in order to find success.
The Nuggets have been lacking a secondary playmaker outside of Jokic, which is where Schroder could ultimately fit into the equation.
